Abstract

This study is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in Akidah Akhlak, which tends to be monotonous and lacks the use of technology. The LOK-R method (Literacy, Orientation, Collaboration, Reflection) based on Chromebooks is introduced as an innovative approach to create a more meaningful, contextual, and interactive learning experience. It encourages students to actively observe, process information, collaborate, and reflect on moral values in daily life using technology as a learning aid. The purpose of this Classroom Action Research (CAR) is to improve student learning outcomes through the application of the LOK-R method. The research was conducted in two cycles with students of class X IPA at a Madrasah Aliyah as the subjects. Instruments used in the study include observation sheets, learning outcome tests, and documentation. The findings reveal that the implementation of the LOK-R method effectively enhances student engagement and academic performance. In the pre-cycle, only 20% of students achieved scores above the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM). This increased to 60% in the first cycle and reached 92% in the second cycle. The integration of Chromebooks at each stage of the LOK-R method provided students with better access to learning resources, improved interactivity, and supported deeper reflection. In conclusion, the Chromebook-based LOK-R method proves to be effective in improving students’ learning outcomes in Akidah Akhlak.
