Abstract

The topic of Islamic Cultural History (SKI) in elementary schools is often seen as dull because it relies heavily on memorization. This approach can make students lose motivation and become less engaged during lessons. To address this, we need creative and interactive teaching methods that can boost students' interest and understanding of SKI. The application of the Fun Learning technique in SKI classes for second-grade students at SDIT An Najiyah Tuban is investigated in this study. Employing a qualitative and descriptive methodology, which includes interviews, observations, and documentation, the research demonstrates that Fun Learning positively influences student engagement and learning outcomes. Students show more enthusiasm, find the material easier to understand, and participate more actively in discussions and group activities. Teachers also become more innovative in presenting the content using educational media. Overall, this method proves effective in increasing student engagement and comprehension of SKI, though it requires teachers to be well-prepared and manage their time effectively.
