Model Pembelajaran Akidah Akhlak Berbasis Pesantren Dalam Membentuk Akhlak Santri di MA Assholach Kejeron

Aqidah Akhlak learning plays an essential role in developing students' faith and moral character. However, globalization and technological advances have challenged students' moral development. As an Islamic senior high school within an Islamic boarding school environment, MA Assholach Kejeron integrates Aqidah Akhlak learning with Islamic boarding school values through religious habituation, teachers' role modeling, and a religious atmosphere to strengthen students' moral character. This study aimed to describe the Islamic boarding school-based Aqidah Akhlak learning model, analyze the process of students' moral development, and identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. This research employed a qualitative case study approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving the principal, Aqidah Akhlak teachers, and students, and analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, with validity ensured through source and technique triangulation. The findings indicate that the learning model integrates classroom instruction with Islamic boarding school activities, including religious habituation, teachers' role modeling, kitab kuning study, and other religious programs. Students' moral character develops through habituation, guidance, and supervision. Supporting factors include a religious environment, collaboration between teachers and boarding school caregivers, exemplary educators, and parental support, while the main obstacles are differences in students' characteristics, low learning motivation, digital media influence, and limited instructional time. Overall, this learning model contributes positively to shaping students' moral character.
