One of the main challenges faced by adolescents is the ability to manage emotions. During adolescence, emotions tend to be intense, fluctuating, and difficult to control, which may lead to impulsive behavior and excessive emotional reactions. This Community Service Program (PKM) aimed to provide training on emotional regulation and self-efficacy for vocational high school students as a preventive and promotive effort to support optimal psychosocial development. The program was implemented at SMK Yadika 13 Tambun using a participatory approach, in which lecturers acted as facilitators and mentors, while students and school stakeholders served as active partners throughout all stages of the activities. The implementation methods included material presentations, interactive discussions, simulations, and evaluations through pre-tests and post-tests. The results of the program indicated an improvement in students’ understanding of emotional regulation and self-efficacy, as reflected in participants’ enthusiasm, active engagement during discussions, and positive feedback from the evaluation process. The participatory approach proved effective in fostering open communication and creating a conducive learning environment. This program is expected to contribute to equipping adolescents with emotional management skills and strengthening self-confidence in facing academic and social challenges.
