Digital Arciving

Al-Furqon: Journal of Islamic Economics, Management and Finance is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of all published content. To achieve this, the journal implements a reliable digital archiving system as follows:

  1. PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)
    The journal utilizes the PKP Preservation Network to digitally preserve its content. This system ensures that all articles remain accessible even if the journal is no longer published.
  2. LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe)
    The journal supports the LOCKSS system, which allows participating libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.
  3. CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS)
    In addition to LOCKSS, the journal may participate in CLOCKSS to provide a sustainable and decentralized archiving solution, ensuring content remains secure and available.
  4. Institutional Repository
    All published articles may also be stored in institutional repositories affiliated with the journal or partner institutions, enhancing visibility and preservation.
  5. Google Scholar & Indexing Services
    The journal ensures that all articles are indexed in academic search engines such as Google Scholar, increasing discoverability and long-term accessibility.
  6. Self-Archiving Policy
    Authors are permitted to deposit the published version of their articles in institutional or subject repositories, provided proper citation to the original publication is included.
