PENDAMPINGAN EDUKASI HAID DAN ISTIHADHAH KEPADA CALON PELAJAR DI PMDG PUTRI 2

Abstract

Educational guidance on menstruation and istihadhah is a crucial effort in enhancing prospective students’ understanding of women’s fiqh at PMDG Putri 2. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of guidance activities in improving participants’ understanding of the concepts of menstruation and istihadhah. The method used is action research, consisting of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and evaluation. The research subjects were 130 prospective students at PMDG Putri 2. Data collection was conducted through pre-test and post-test written exams covering the taught material. The material presented included the basics of menstruation and istihadhah, with a focus on practical aspects and religious practices during istihadhah. The research results indicate a significant improvement in understanding, marked by an increase in the participants’ average score from 40.23% on the pre-test to 74.69% on the post-test, representing a 34.46% increase. Thus, educational guidance on menstruation and istihadhah has proven effective in enhancing prospective students’ knowledge and readiness to understand women’s fiqh. It is hoped that this program will serve as a foundation for participants before entering the pesantren environment and help them practice Islamic teachings correctly in their daily lives.
