Digital Transformation Based On Local Wisdom; (Smart Strategy To Realize Superior Governance System)

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and understand about analyzing the form of digital transformation strategies at Pondok Pesanatren Nurul Jadid which has the ability to transform into a leading pesantren in Indonesia. This pesantren was founded in 1948 and is quite old. At the age of 75, Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School has proven its existence through a fairly rapid digital transformation. This research uses a qualitative approach of case study type. The data collection technique was carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis starts from data presentation, data reduction and ends with conclusion drawing. The results showed that local wisdom-based digital transformation emphasizes the importance of respecting cultural identity and local traditions when developing and implementing digital technology by respecting, understanding, and integrating the values, culture, and local traditions of the community or society.
