Paradigma Integrasi-Interkoneksi M. Amin Abdullah sebagai Kerangka Metodologis riset moderasi beragama berbasis Al-Qur’an dan Hadits

Abstract

M. Amin Abdullah’s integration-interconnection paradigm is one of the scholarly approaches that seeks to establish a dialogical relationship between religious sciences and modern scientific knowledge. This study aims to analyze the integration-interconnection paradigm as a methodological framework for research on religious moderation based on the Qur’an and Hadith. The study employs a qualitative approach using the library research method through an analysis of various literature on M. Amin Abdullah’s thought, the integration-interconnection paradigm, religious moderation, and Qur’anic and Hadith studies. The results indicate that the integration-interconnection paradigm functions not only as an epistemological concept but also can be developed as a methodological framework for contemporary Islamic research. This paradigm is capable of connecting the normative dimensions of revelation with scientific approaches and social realities, thereby producing studies of religious moderation that are more contextual, multidisciplinary, and relevant to the dynamics of modern society. These findings demonstrate that the integration-interconnection paradigm contributes to the development of a more integrative methodology of Islamic studies in addressing various contemporary issues of religious life.
