Abstract

This study aims to analyze the reorientation of school principal professionalism through the "Educational Supervision 5.0" approach to accelerate teacher performance. The study's urgency stems from the need for digital transformation within Vocational High Schools (SMK), necessitating a shift from conventional supervision to technology-based supervision to foster digital pedagogical competence among teachers. Employing a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with principals and teachers, observations of digital platform-based supervision, and documentation of performance assessment instruments. The findings indicate that the implementation of Educational Supervision 5.0—characterized by adaptability, real-time data utilization, and a focus on coaching—significantly enhances instructional efficiency while boosting teacher motivation and teaching performance. This research offers a practical contribution by providing a tactical digital supervision model for vocational school policymakers, alongside a theoretical contribution by enriching the literature on educational leadership management in the era of technological disruption.
