Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of the concept of just price in Abu Ubaid's thinking and its challenges in the digital market era. The problem formulation raised is how the concept of just price according to Abu Ubaid can be adapted in a dynamic digital market, and what challenges are faced in its implementation. The research questions posed are: (1) What is meant by just price according to Abu Ubaid and how is it relevant in the digital market? (2) What are the challenges faced in implementing just price in the digital market, and what solutions can be applied? This study uses a qualitative approach with library research methods and descriptive comparative analysis. The primary data used comes from Abu Ubaid's works, especially those discussing the concept of price, the role of the state in market regulation, and the principle of transaction justice. Secondary data is obtained from classical and contemporary literature on just price in Islam and price mechanisms in the digital market. The results of the study indicate that the application of the concept of just price according to Abu Ubaid in the digital market faces major challenges related to price transparency, the use of algorithms in pricing, and unequal consumer access to technology. To address these challenges, proposed solutions include improving digital literacy, implementing Islamic economic principles on e-commerce platforms, and strengthening equitable digital market regulations.
