Abstract

This study investigates the role of educational administration in improving learning quality at MA Mambaul Ulum Bata-Bata. The main problem addressed is the gap between the ideal function of educational administration as a managerial system and its practical implementation, which is often limited to routine documentation and has not been optimally utilized to support learning quality improvement. This research aims to analyze how educational administration functions—namely planning, implementation, supervision, and evaluation—are applied and how they contribute to learning quality enhancement. The study employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving the head of the madrasah, teachers, and administrative staff. The findings reveal that educational administration plays a strategic role in improving learning quality by ensuring structured planning, orderly learning implementation, systematic academic supervision, and data-based evaluation. This study highlights that the novelty lies in positioning educational administration not merely as administrative compliance, but as an integrated quality assurance system that directly influences learning effectiveness in madrasahs.
