Abstract

ABSTRACT

This Community Service (PKM) initiative addresses challenges faced by Arabic language teachers at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Darussalam in Sumberrejo, Paiton, primarily the lack of innovation and variety in the use of engaging instructional media that enhances maharah kalam (speaking skills), which results in diminished student interest and speaking proficiency. The service activity involves providing direct guidance to Arabic teachers through training and practical exercises focused on designing and implementing YouTube-based instructional media. The program begins with an introductory briefing, followed by training on selecting suitable YouTube content for elementary-level students, and concludes with hands-on support during classroom implementation. The proposed solution utilizes YouTube content as an engaging, accessible, and interactive instructional medium to improve maharah kalam skills. Ultimately, this activity successfully enhanced the teachers' understanding and skills regarding the use of YouTube content as an instructional tool, thereby fostering greater student engagement and progressively improving maharah kalam proficiency at the school.
